Lynette Ubel – Book Design
Fine Art Books, Museum Exhibition Catalogs, Art Gallery Books, Coffee Table Books, Commemorative & Historical Books, Photography Books, Artist's Collection Books, Sports Publications, Biographies, Fiction, and more.
With the blank page as her canvas, readers are drawn to book designer Lynette Ubel's unique creations. From the linen, braiding and foil stamping hidden behind the dust jacket, to the distinctive end papers and paper stock used throughout the books, meticulous attention to detail and desirable surprises are found in every type book she fashions.
One can define and distinguish a book with a well-conceived look and feel, which is one reason so many rely on Ubel Design. Much like the art within the pages of the book, a book created by Lynette ultimately becomes a lasting piece of art itself.
Logo Design – Branding/Identity
When we design your identity, we research; we question; we dig. Only then do we begin concept and design – and we may even dig some more!
When creating a new logo, Ubel Design has found that the best way to initially present concepts to our clients is in black and white. Seeing the design in it's purest black and white form helps our customers not be distracted by color and just focus on the symbol itself. If a logo does it's job in black and white, we know it will look good in news print and other one-color applications.
Once the logo is approved, colors are selected to enhance the design and further strengthen the identity. We consider future print production costs and can design your logo with one Pantone color to keep printing costs down, or full four-color process when budgets allow.
In the end, the essence of your company will be distilled into a unique and memorable symbol that works across an array of mediums and is timeless in its design.
Letterhead Package Design
Having custom letterhead, envelopes, business cards and mailing labels for your business can really benefit you in terms of branding. Once your logo has been created and your colors chosen, we roll out your letterhead package and expand on the elements and feeling of the logo.
We want to create a style for your business that speaks to what your business is all about. Ubel Design's portfolio showcases the most common pieces in an identity package, so you can get a good sense of what quality and consistent branding looks like.

By far the widest category in branding consists of the collateral materials. These include projects ranging from one-color fliers and news print ads to intricate four-color-plus brochures, complete with die-cuts, embossing and other techniques to grab attention. We will match your project goals and exceed design expectations. We consider the message, budget and audience when creating collateral materials, and use our experience and skill to walk the project through to completion.
